A warm + charming cabin bathroom renovation at Arrowhead Acres
When we first walked into this little log cabin bathroom, we immediately saw the potential hiding beneath the mismatched wood paneling, the green clawfoot tub, and the makeshift shelving. We knew this space could become something special—something warm, inviting, and full of the rustic charm that Arrowhead Acres is meant to hold.
This bathroom is now the cozy, glowing retreat our guests will use during workshops, gatherings, and overnight stays—and today we’re sharing the full transformation.
Before
Before we began renovations, the bathroom had plenty of character… just not the kind that matched the quiet, grounding calm we wanted the cabin to carry. The original log walls, slanted ceiling, and vintage tub were beautiful bones, but the space felt dark, dated, and cluttered.
Here’s what we started with:
The Vision
Our goal was to honor the cabin’s original charm while giving the space the comfort and simplicity guests deserve.
We wanted:

• upgraded fixtures with a timeless feel
• simple, thoughtful storage
• a warm glow that makes the room feel truly restful
We kept the classic clawfoot tub, preserved the log cabin texture, and layered in fresh tile, soft lighting, and beautiful matte-brass finishes.
Progress
Like every good renovation, the magic happened slowly—one layer at a time. The demo revealed just how much work the old bathroom needed, but as the tile went in and the tub and walls got new life, we could finally see the vision coming together.
